What are Bushfire Reports?
Bushfire assessment reports are required at different stages of building design and for different reporting authorities. Majority of Victoria is designated as Bushfire prone area.
Bushfire assessment reports might be required at the town planning stage of a project to ensure that the project complies with council zoning laws and requirements, other times Bushfire assessment reports might be required by the Building Certifier upon issuing of a building permit to ensure the construction complies with specification of Australian Standard AS3959 - Construction in Bushfire prone areas.
