NatHERS assessment modelling  (6 or 7 star energy rating) are a method to determine the star rating of your dwelling. Higher the energy efficiency rating rating, higher the buildings thermal performance. This assessment is undertaken via  NatHERS approved modelling software system designed to operate to requirements of the National Construction Code of Australia. 

All building projects requiring a Building Permit which have conditioned spaces (heated/cooled) will require an energy efficiency rating report to demonstrate compliance to the building code to your Building Surveyor/Certifier. New buildings will need  to show a 7 star energy rating via NatHERS assessment modelling.
